Journey Roam Bone China Mug

This is 'Roam' from the Journey Collection which is inspired by the freedom of noticing things when on a journey.  A memory here, a particular tree there, colours and sensations. Roam explores the unexplored - noticing the small stuff. Foraging for food, colours, textures, smells.  A mix match of things to find.

I have been helping an old friend archive 50 years of his artwork - it has taken me on a journey to my past and my future. I bought a camper van recently and have benefited from that freedom, opening my options as well as taking me back to my childhood.  This collection explores the stops along the way, crossroads, triggers of memories and unknown adventures to come.

I hand drew and designed the patterns then put the design onto Bone China Mugs in my studio in Bristol.

Made from bone china the mugs have a fine rim and that almost translucent quality, that you can only get with Bone China... It's true what they say, Tea really does taste better in Bone China!
